Leonard E. Wilson
Leonard E. Wilson began his law practice in Elkton, MD in 1962 with an emphasis on zoning, land use and environmental issues. He currently specializes in the practice of Estates, Last Wills and Testaments and family transfers.
Mr. Wilson served in the US Army during the Korean War as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, then became employed in the insurance industry after his time in the military. After graduating from Calvert High School in 1948 and the University of Maryland in 1956, he attended law school at the University of Baltimore and graduated in 1961.
After entering the Maryland Bar in 1961, Leonard was appointed Trial Magistrate by Gov. Millard Tawes in 1963 before the District Court System was adopted. With 56 years of legal experience, Leonard is one of the most respected attorneys in Cecil County.
Mr. Wilson brings to the firm a wealth of experience and a sterling reputation earned from over six decades in the practice of law. A pioneer in the areas of land use and real property law, Mr. Wilson will be focusing his practice in the areas of estates and trusts, and real estate matters.
